It’s a project based on the research on the apertures of a gothic cathedral, applying the research to the design of shed via the combination of perspective manipulation. Seeing the web through the aperture from different position can have different result. The amount of oblique surface is changing along with the shifting of the viewing position. Based on this finding, the core concept of the shed design is to apply this perspective manipulation method to create four different scenarios in a single shed with the maximum space for each scenario. The diagram demonstrates how four different program is permeating into each other obtain the maximum space. Meanwhile, with the careful interior arrangement inside the shed, people from outside won’t notice how many programs are actually inside the shed, creating a diorama effect when people walk around the shed, which elevate the shed into a performance level.
